Q: What game do you look forward to the most on your schedule and why?
I think Holland Hall. It's week three for us. It's a huge game. It's the first game in conference play. It's really big for us to start out with a win there. It could really dictate how our season could go.
What has been your favorite moment thus far while playing high school football?
That's tough. There have been a lot of good ones. My favorite would have to be just how close I have gotten to be with the rest of my senior class because of football.
Who is your sports hero and why?
I am going to say Major Applewhite. I grew up watching Texas football, and he is the first player I ever watched. I know that is tough for Oklahomans to hear. I was born there (Texas). Both my parents and lot of my family are Texas alums.
What is the football drill that you hate the most and why?
Log roll drill because it makes you really dizzy. Three players get on all fours and coach will point to right or left, and then one player will jump over the other and roll. It's just a continuous cycle. It seems like it lasts forever, but it's a just a couple of minutes.
What is your favorite pastime outside of football?
I play basketball, and I really enjoying playing golf. I play on the high school team for both basketball and golf.
Which was the better summer movie, “The Dark Knight Rises” or “The Avengers” and why?
I have to say Dark Knight Rises because I am a Batman guy. I thought it was the best of the trilogy. It was always keeping me guessing. I didn't know what was coming next.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
I think I would want to fly. You could go anywhere and see some pretty cool views.
What is the best and worst thing they make in your school cafeteria?
The best thing they make is the chicken-fried steak. The chicken-fried steak is just great and definitely restaurant caliber. The worst thing they make is the sweet and sour meatballs. They don't smell too good.
