Cast of seven offers fresh telling of ‘Eurydice’ myth in Oklahoma City
A brilliant retelling of the Orpheus myth, most of which takes place in the underworld with Eurydice as the central character, is now on view at the Civic Center Music Hall. Written in 2003 by Sarah Ruhl , "Eurydice” was staged on a simple set consisting of an elevator, a room-size stage with six pillars, and a high desk where a three-member chorus of stones sits in judgment.
