BROKEN ARROW -- Dozens of cats were rushed from a Wagoner County trailer home into a waiting Humane Society of Tulsa mobile triage unit to be examined.

Some were suffering from dehydration. Others had immune system problems. Many more were weak from a lack of food.

"This one is critical," shouted one animal rescue volunteer as she hurried from the small home with a sick cat in tow.
