Celtic stunned by St Mirren in League Cup semi

GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) — St. Mirren beat Celtic 3-2 at Hampden Park on Sunday to set up a meeting with Hearts in the Scottish League Cup final.

Celtic, which is top of the Scottish Premier League, hadn't conceded a goal to St. Mirren in their previous eight matches but fell 3-1 behind after 69 minutes at Scotland's national stadium.

Charlie Mulgrew, who had a penalty saved, pulled a goal back in injury time but there was no time for an equalizer.

"That's a soulless performance from us," Celtic manager Neil Lennon said. "I don't know where that performance came from."

Hearts beat Inverness on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the first semifinal on Saturday.

Also Sunday, Aberdeen drew 0-0 with Hibernian and Dundee drew with Kilmarnock by the same score line.
