GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) — Celtic twice surrendered the lead to draw 2-2 at home to Hibernian and drop points for the second time in the Scottish Premier League this season.
The reigning champions are expected to easily defend their title after arch rival Rangers was demoted to the fourth tier, Scotland's lowest professional league, because of its tax debts.
This draw keeps Celtic top of the standings on goal difference from Hibs but they aren't having it all their own way this season, with Paul Cairney earning the visitors a point in the 73rd minute.
Mikael Lustig and James McPake scored for Celtic, which missed multiple chances to take all three points.
There were no goals in any of the other games between Aberdeen-St. Mirren, Ross County-Kilmarnock and St. Johnstone-Dundee United.
