CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Antonio Costa shot a 1-under par 71 to help lead Central Arkansas to first place after two rounds at the 2012 Southland Conference Men's Golf Championship in McKinney, Texas.

The Bears moved from second place to first after shooting a 15-over 591 on Tuesday.

Costa is in first place in the individual standings with an overall 143, two strokes ahead of Stephen F. Austin's Mitchell McLeroy.

The top four teams are separated by just 10 strokes entering the final day on Wednesday. Central Arkansas, Lamar and Texas-Arlington will be paired together and will tee off between 8:50 and 9:30 a.m.

The winner of the tournament will gain the league's automatic bid into one of six NCAA regionals that are slated to run May 17 through May 19.
