A hunting tournament for coyotes and bobcats is scheduled Jan. 26 in Blanchard.
Cash prizes and gear will be awarded to winners in of the Central Oklahoma Predator Challenge.
Entry fee per one to three-man teams is $100. The team that checks in the most legally killed predators wins the main competition.

Field trials for bird dogs
The Oklahoma Region of National Shoot to Retrieve Association will be holding three spring trials that are open to all pointing breeds.
The trial weekends for the bird dogs are Jan. 26-27 in El Reno, Feb. 9-10 in Minco and March 16-17 in Enid.
New participants or spectators who just want to learn more about our trials are invited.

Mudcats premieres Sunday night
A television show about noodling in Oklahoma debuts Sunday night at 9 p.m. on the National Geographic channel.
“Mudcats” was filmed in Oklahoma and features noodlers competing for a grand prize of $10,000 in the 10-week long Okie Hand Fishing Invitational. The weigh-ins were held at the Rock-A-Way Tavern in Guthrie.
The creator of the show is Bradley Beesley, who founded the Okie Noodling Tournament in Pauls Valley each summer and produced the Okie Noodling documentaries.
Eagle watch on Arbuckle Lake
The Chickasaw National Recreation Area is holding a bald eagle watch Saturday and Jan. 26
The eagle watches will begin each day with a program at the Travertine Nature Center at 9 a.m. before visitors will caravan with park rangers to the Lake of the Arbuckles in search of bald eagles.

Fly fishing club meeting
The Prairie Fly Fishers will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday at Camp DaKaNi in Oklahoma City, 3309 E. Hefner Road.
Fishing trips to the Lower Illinois River near Gore and Lake Taneycomo in Branson, Mo., will be discussed.
The club’s fly tying group will meet Jan. 22 at Backwoods in Oklahoma City. The fly of the month is the Forget-Me-Not. Guests are welcome.

Last day for RV, Boat show
Sunday is the final day of the Original Free RV, Boat and Outdoor Leisure Show at State Fair Park.
Show hours Sunday is noon until 6 p.m. Admission is free.
