Rain chances increase in central Oklahoma Thursday afternoon, the National Weather Service reports.

There is a 60 percent chance for rain after 1 p.m.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Thursday: Rain likely mainly after 1 p.m. Cloudy with a high near 62. Southeast wind 7 to 11 mph becoming north, northeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Thursday night: A 30 percent chance of rain before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 47. Northeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light east after midnight.

Friday: Partly sunny with a high near 73. Light east, southeast wind becoming south, southeast 6 to 11 mph in the morning.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 53. South, southeast wind 11 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday: Partly sunny with a high near 77. South wind 13 to 22 mph with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Saturday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 59.

Sunday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy with a high near 77. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
