Cooler days are ahead in Oklahoma this week, the National Weather Service reports.

There is a chance for rain Monday.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 7 a.m. Partly sunny with a high near 93. Northeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Monday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 65. Light north wind becoming north, northeast 15 to 20 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny with a high near 82. Northeast wind 11 to 18 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 62. East wind 6 to 9 mph.

Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy with a high near 74. East, southeast wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Wednesday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy with a low around 62. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy with a high near 74. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
