Temperatures will stay in the mid-40s Friday in central Oklahoma with chances for freezing rain and snow ahead, the National Weather Service reports.

There is a chance for freezing rain early Saturday and snow early Sunday.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 46. East wind around 8 mph becoming north in the morning.

Friday night: A slight chance of rain or freezing rain after midnight. Mostly cloudy with a low around 30. North, northeast wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 41. North wind 11 to 13 mph.

Saturday night: A chance of snow and sleet mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy with a low around 23. North, northeast wind 13 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Sunday: A 40 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy with a high near 32. North northeast wind 10 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 22.

Monday: A slight chance of rain and snow after noon. Partly sunny with a high near 37. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Monday night: A slight chance of rain and snow. Cloudy with a low around 28. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Tuesday: A chance of rain and snow. Cloudy with a high near 38. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
