There is a chance for rain Wednesday in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

Skies will be partly cloudy with temperatures reaching a high around 85 degrees.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly after 2 p.m. Partly sunny with a high near 85. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 71. South, southeast wind 8 to 10 mph.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly before 8 a.m. Partly sunny with a high near 85. South wind 8 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Thursday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 71. South, southeast wind 13 to 16 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m. Mostly sunny with a high near 85. South wind 13 to 21 mph with gusts as high as 29 mph.
