The National Weather Service reports a 50 percent chance for rain in central Oklahoma Friday.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 90. South wind 6 to 11 mph.

Friday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy with a low around 70. South wind 6 to 13 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 93. South, southwest wind 5 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 71. South wind 8 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 91. South wind 10 to 13 mph.

Sunday night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 72.

Monday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 88.

Monday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68.

Tuesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 86.
