Chances for thunderstorms and severe weather increasing Friday and Saturday

Saturday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some of the storms could be severe and produce heavy rainfall. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Windy, with a south wind between 26 and 29 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. Windy, with a south southwest wind between 18 and 28 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 48.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 74.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 53.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 55.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 77.
