Chargers waive Rashaun Woods

The San Diego Chargers waived wide receiver Rashaun Woods on Tuesday, claiming receiver Gerran Walker off waivers from Indianapolis.

Woods, the former Oklahoma State and Millwood star, was drafted 31st overall in the 2004 draft by San Francisco. He had just seven catches his rookie season and spent all of 2005 on injured reserve. He had already missed some time in training camp this year with a hamstring injury.
