Charges filed over alleged drug sales from Duncan apartment complex

Six people were accused Friday in criminal charges of drug offenses at the Elm Terrace apartment complex, a

Some of those who knew the teens said they changed after they began hanging out at the Elm Terrace apartments. Police suspect they went to the complex after the shooting.

An apartment resident told police that all three came to his apartment but he did not want to get involved and all three left.

Charged Friday with drug distribution were Jimmie Lee Johnson Jr., 42; Jimmy Shan Bates, 39; Richard Allan Laviolette, 34; William Patrick Chiumento, 33; and Breanna Marie Melton, 28.

Charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute was Eddie Joe Jernigan, 48.
