The chase began on Interstate 35, and the car left the freeway and crashed into the train near SE 89 and Pole Road about 6 a.m., a patrol report states. The driver got out and ran away into a nearby field.

An Oklahoma City fire dispatcher said a small fire started after the crash and was quickly brought under control, but further details were not immediately available.

Troopers and Oklahoma City police were on the scene this morning looking for the driver, police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said. A helicopter, dogs and officers on the ground had not found anyone as of about 7:45 a.m.

Bryan...I hope someone was around to read your comment to Cracka. That's a mighty big word.

Cracka, OKC please look into reading comprehension.. It's a very helpful skill. BTW, isn't this the same place that there was a fatality accident about a month ago? Perhaps there should be a better barrier at the end of this road separating it from the tracks.

Hopefully the prick is in pieces under the train.
