Chesapeake to spend millions to push CNG
Chesapeake Energy Corp. will spends tens of millions of dollars this year in a media blitz aimed at influencing policymakers to adopt legislation boosting the use of compressed natural gas in vehicles, Chairman Aubrey McClendon said Thursday.
The CNG Now initiative is informally coordinated with the media-heavy "Pickens Plan” launched earlier this year by T. Boone Pickens , McClendon said.
