A subsidiary of the Chickasaw Nation plans to buy two casinos and all other assets of a bankrupt Louisiana gaming company, the two firms said Thursday.

Global Gaming Solutions, which owns Remington Park casino and racetrack in Oklahoma City, has agreed to acquire Legends Gaming LLC, which operates DiamondJacks Casinos in Bossier City, La., and Vicksburg, Miss. The proposed deal is subject to approval by a Louisiana bankruptcy count and regulators in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Terms of the proposed deal were not announced.

Legends President Raymond Cook, in a statement issued by the company, said the sale would make DiamondJacks part of Global Gaming and its parent company, which includes WinStar, one of the largest casino in the world, and will have the backing of one of the largest casino operators in the Texas-Oklahoma-Louisiana market. WinStar Casino is in Thackerville.

Legends said it would continue normal operations at both of its casinos.

Global Gaming CEO John Elliott, in a statement, said his company was eager to begin “creating stability” for the casinos' employees.
