Two die Saturday from injuries sustained in crashes on Oklahoma roadways

Benjamin Heath Parr, 18, of Chickasha, and Keith Hedrick, 20, of Purcell, died Saturday from injuries sufffered in seperate crashes on Oklahoma roads, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Two men died Saturday from injuries suffered in seperate crashes on Oklahoma roads, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Benjamin Heath Parr, 18, Chickasha

About 5:30 a.m. July 20, Parr was driving a pickup east on State Highway 39 east of Chickasha in Grady County. The pickup went off the road and hit a tree, troopers said.

Parr, who had been wearing a seat belt, was taken by helicopter to OU Medical Center, where he died Saturday morning, troopers said.

Keith Hedrick, 20, Purcell

About 6:15 a.m. Saturday, Hedrick was driving south on U.S. Highway 77 near Moffatt Road in Cleveland County. The car went off the road struck a concrete culvert, troopers said.

Troopers did not know whether Hedrick was wearing a seat belt. He died at the scene.
