Child-neglect complaints filed in Sand Springs baby death

SAND SPRINGS -- A man was arrested on child neglect complaints Wednesday after authorities found his 6-month-old son dead in a house they described as "in complete disarray."

SAND SPRINGS -- A man was arrested on child neglect complaints Wednesday after authorities found his 6-month-old son dead in a house they described as "in complete disarray."

Police believe Jobe Lee Jones, 20, had been smoking marijuana when he fell asleep on a couch with his son and infant daughter Tuesday night.

Jones reported that he woke up about noon Wednesday and discovered the boy was not breathing, Sand Spring Assistant Police Chief Mike Carter said.

Authorities found Daethe Anthony Ray Jones dead on the floor, he said.
