VALLEY BROOK — A 9-year-old boy was taken to a hospital in critical condition Friday evening after being hit by a vehicle.
Police responded to the scene about 6:45 p.m. in the 6500 block of S Cox Avenue in Valley Brook.
EMSA spokeswoman Lara O’Leary said the child was taken to OU Medical Center in critical condition.
Valley Brook Police Chief Michael Stamp said investigators determined the driver of the vehicle was not at fault in the accident. She went voluntarily to the police station and was given a blood test, Stamp said. Police did not identify the boy or the driver of the vehicle.
