EDMOND — Young golfers and their parents turned out for the 11th annual Parent-Child Championship at KickingBird Golf Course.
The scramble tournament allowed parents to spend time with their children playing the sport.
KickingBird Golf Club is a city-owned 18-hole championship course. It is Edmond’s oldest course.
The 6,700-yard course was redesigned by touring professional Mark Hayes in 1997 and features tree-lined fairways and gently contoured greens. The challenging, yet playable, course encourages use by weekend golfers as well as advanced players.
