Children's Theatre presenting Alice in Wonderland

Come see the story of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, presented Wednesday, July 18, through Sunday, July 22, at the Oklahoma Children's Theatre, 2501 N Blackwelder.

Performances are scheduled for 10 a.m. and noon Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The story of these performances is: Alice is playing baseball when suddenly all goes dark and she wakes up in a strange place where the Cool Cats play jazz, crazy ballerinas have tea parties with sleepy mice and more odd folks are present.

"Join our Youth Ensemble on a trip to where the Knave of Hearts is a movie star and the Queen of Hearts is after someone's head," theater officials said.

The performances are sponsored by Allied Arts, the Oklahoma Arts Council, Art Works, Inasmuch Foundation, Oklahoma City University, Mercedes Benz of OKC and Latchkey Child Service.
