Southerly winds will increase Saturday and Sunday, causing temperatures to rise a little. On Sunday, moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will arrive just ahead of the next cold front, bringing more clouds and a slight chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service.

A better chance for rain appears to be coming together for Thanksgiving into the following weekend.

Skies today and Saturday are likely to be mostly sunny. Highs today should reach the 40s and 50s and lows tonight should fall into the 20s statewide. Highs on Saturday are expected to warm into the 50s and 60s.

In Norman, it's likely to be cloudy with temperatures about 50 when the University of Oklahoma-Texas Tech football game begins at 7 p.m. Saturday. By 10 p.m., temperatures are expected to fall only about 5 degrees.

On Sunday, temperatures are likely to the 50s and 60s during the day and fall into the 30s and 40s Sunday night.
