'Chinosaur' exhibit: Opening reception information

The Confucius Institute at the University of Oklahoma will provide entertainment for the free opening reception of “Chinasaurs,” set for 6 to 8 p.m. on June 1 at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History.

A Chinese Lion Dance will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a women's solo dance, children's dancing and a yo-yo show. The event also will feature family-friendly activities such as calligraphy and paper folding, refreshments and music played on a traditional Chinese zheng, a stringed instrument used as early as 300 B.C.
