Choctaw Nation aids wounded veterans

DURANT -- Three full-time pilots of the Choctaw Nation are serving U.S. veterans who have been wounded.

The pilots are in the Veterans Airlift Command, which flies wounded veterans throughout the country.



The Durant Daily Democrat reports that the tribe provides to Choctaw planes for the program and the tribe covers all costs of each flight.
