Christian business organization to honor Oklahoma City businessman Tuesday

Connecting Business Men to Christ (CBMC) of Oklahoma City will honor Kent Humphreys with its 2009 Salt and Light Award at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, 1700 NE 63.

Humphreys served as president of Fellowship of Companies for Christ International from 2002-07. The organization equips and encourages Christian business owners who desire to use their companies as a platform for ministry.

Humphreys serves the organization as a worldwide ambassador for its Christ@Work ministry.

Tickets to the Salt and Light Award Dinner are $30 per person.

Leadership, patron, corporate and sponsor tables for eight also are available.
