“Court says man can sue over ‘rain god” tags” (News, June 12) paints Pastor Keith Cressman as one of those people just searching for something to be offended about when, in reality, like many Christians, he's tired of being pushed around. On the subject of Christians being bullied and told to sit down and be quiet, one can't help but be reminded of the controversy over the official state quarter a few years ago. A popular choice for the symbolic image to be depicted was the iconic “Pioneer Woman,” but a U.S. Mint sketch of the proposal omitted the Holy Bible being carried in the statue. In a few years the “rain arrow” tag will be retired. I recommend putting the scissor-tailed flycatcher on the new tags to remind Oklahomans of the time we gave ourselves the bird.
