"Why are people so cranky?" and "How can we support our military families?" are among the titles of summer workshops for adults in the Discoveries program at United Methodist Church of the Servant.

Fourteen community classes -- from "African drumming" to "Ready, action, camera" -- starting in June are described in an informational brochure with dates, time and class fees; an enrollment form is included.
Two are daytime classes on vegetable gardening and ballroom dancing. Twelve classes, which meet weekly include jewelry beading, basic photography, advanced bridge instruction and creative writing. All classes are held in the church, 14343 N MacArthur Blvd. Child care for children 10 and younger is available by reservation only.
Various Oklahoma professionals and hobbyists teach the classes. Registration is required. A Discoveries brochure is available by mail from Gayle Jones, class coordinator, at 720-8480.
