Oklahoma City codifies plan to include art in projects
A new city ordinance will require Oklahoma City to spend 1 percent of the cost of future construction on public art.
The city council voted 7-1 Tuesday in favor of the ordinance, with Ward 5 Councilman Brian Walters the lone dissenting vote. Ward 8 Councilman Pat Ryan was absent from Tuesday’s meeting.
