ALTUS -- If things continue to move ahead, residents of the city of Altus could be voting Sept. 10 to accept or reject a city charter.

The Altus Times reports that the Board of Freeholders recently presented Altus Mayor David Webb a draft city charter.

Webb presents the draft to the city council, which then, if it is approved, sends it on for a special election.
