City is climbing higher up on job creation list
Oklahoma City and Tulsa each placed higher this year in an annual study of which cities are the most successful in creating and keeping jobs.
The Milken Institute 's Best Performing Cities 2008 report ranks Oklahoma City 50th among the country's 200 largest metro areas, up from the 108th spot last year. Tulsa was 72nd on the list, up from 98th last year.
