City man apologizes for murder a year ago
An Oklahoma City man sought forgiveness Monday after he pleaded guilty to first-degree murder.
"I never meant for this to happen,” William Vernon Shadrick said.
Shadrick, 35, told several relatives of victim David Mason he relives what happened Sept. 20, 2007, every day.
He said he prays for the family’s forgiveness so he can forgive himself for killing Mason, 44, after an argument.
