Oklahoma City may donate animal carcasses to OSU vet school
Oklahoma City officials are hoping some good can come from the thousands of animals euthanized each year at the city’s animal shelter.
The city is considering a policy to allow the shelter to donate the cadavers of euthanized animals to Oklahoma State University ’s veterinary college. The ordinance was introduced at Tuesday’s City Council meeting and will come up for a final vote Oct. 20.
