With Kirk Humphries, you know you're getting someone who's even-keeled, and can provide fair, effective leadership to a school board that's too often known turmoil. We've seen his work as a businessman, a member of the Putnam City School Board, mayor and what he's done in his current role. No slap intended for Sen. Monson, but I don't think a change is warranted or wise.

Monson is an interesting and well-respected opponent for Humphries.
