CLAREMORE - A Sequoyah Middle School band teacher was arrested Monday on allegations that he had sex multiple times with a 14-year-old student, authorities said.

Mark Thomas Buchanan, 34, of Claremore told his wife about the relationship after the student told him that she might be pregnant, Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton said.
At the same time, Buchanan reportedly told the girl that he would marry her, Walton said.
The girl later found that she was not pregnant, he said.
