In the first half, Chouteau struggled to slow down Ketchum senior Jeylyn Sharpe who went into halftime with 17 points. The Chouteau defense tightened up on Sharpe in the second half, holding him to just two points in the third quarter.

“We started trying to double him in the second half,” Chouteau coach Travis Wheeler said. “We were swarming him to force him to give up the ball and make someone else to hit shots.”

Sharpe finished with 26 points for Ketchum to lead all scorers. Senior guard Jordon Shive led Chouteau with 19 points.

Chouteau will meet Latta in the semifinals on Friday at 6 p.m. at Oklahoma City University.
