On the next drive, Kingfisher quarterback Derek Patterson was injured on a late hit out of bounds and was carried away on a stretcher. There was a 21-minute delay and Patterson was transported to Stillwater Medical Center. His status is unknown.
With the focus back on the field, Lincoln Christian running back Matt Lawwill took over in the second half and rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns. Both of those came in the second half.
Grauer threw for 207 yards and rushed for a touchdown.
"This was great leadership, and I couldn't be more proud of a group of guys," coach Darren Melton said.
Lincoln Christian's only loss came to Arkansas powerhouse, Shiloh Christian.
The loss ends a great season for Kingfisher (12-3). After a 3-2 start, the Yellowjackets won nine in a row and came back from double-digit deficits twice in the playoffs.
