OCS didn't, though, playing in the Luther Invitational this week.

Not only did the Saints play, they made it to the championship game.

The problem?

The game was scheduled for 9 p.m. Saturday night. The OCS girls also made the finals, originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Tournament organizers agreed to move the game to the afternoon, though, allowing OCS' players to attend Saturday night's game.

The OCS boys lost the title game to Glencoe. The OCS girls won the tournament, beating Star Spencer.

ACADEMIC CHAMPIONS NAMED

Before Saturday night's Class 2A title game, Vian was presented with the academic state championship for the class.

During the Class A title game, Summit Christian was awarded the title for that class.

Lincoln Christian earned 3A academic championship honors.
