Class 2A girls: Millwood, Cordell advance

Raven Prince finished with 16 points and nine rebounds, both game-highs, to lead Millwood to a 34-27 victory Thursday in the Class 2A state tournament. Addi Meeker scored 10 points for the Eagles. Millwood will face Cordell at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the semifinals at State Fair Arena.

Raven Prince finished with 16 points and nine rebounds, both game-highs, to lead Millwood to a 34-27 victory Thursday in the Class 2A state tournament.

Addi Meeker scored 10 points for the Eagles.

Millwood will face Cordell at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the semifinals at State Fair Arena.

Fifth-ranked Cordell beat sixth-ranked Ketchum 45-32.

Gabbie Parsons and Lauren Russ both registered double-doubles to fuel the Blue Devils. Parsons had 16 points and 10 rebounds.  Russ scored 13 points and grabbed 10 boards as well.
