Idabel's Stauter holds on

Okmulgee's Jackson Hess made a charge, but it wasn't quite enough to overtake Idabel's Nick Stauter for the individual crown.

Stauter came into the day with a four-stroke lead and shot 75 to hang on for a one-shot win over Hess. OCS' Rustin Purser was third, five shots back.

Purser among All-Staters

For his performance, Purser earned a spot on the All-State team, for the tournament be played in late July.

Purser and Plainview's Will Roberts earned the two All-State spots for the West team, while Hess and Checotah's Zac Oliver will represent the East as the top-finishing seniors.
