The next highest individual qualifier is Oologah's Megan McDaniels, who is in a tie for sixth. McDaniels still has a teammate in the field, though, as Laney Plamer also qualified from Oologah.
“You just get used to it I guess,” Morgan said. “I've never really had a chance for us to qualify as a team so I don't know any different.”
The individual qualification left Morgan with an earlier tee time than the other top contenders, leaving her spending a good part of the afternoon watching the scoreboard in the clubhouse.
“It's kind of nerve-racking,” she said.
Morgan has signed with Oklahoma Baptist.
“I grew up going to Fall's Creek and always thought that OBU would be a cool place to go,” she said. “I love the Christian atmosphere there and I really like the campus.”
