Class 4A girls golf: McGuinness' Caitlin Farris leads
Clinton is in the hunt for its third straight Class 4A girls golf state championship, but the Red Tornadoes have some work left to do in a budding rivalry that should make for an exciting final round.

Two Clinton players are in the top four individuals, but Bishop McGuinness' team total of 324 was good for a seven-stroke lead after Wednesday's first round at Lake Hefner's South Course.
McGuinness freshman Caitlin Farris shot the only under-par round of the day, a 2-under 71, for a five-shot advantage in the individual race.
Tulsa McLain's total of 373 was good for third place, but the 42-stroke gap between McLain and Clinton means it will be a two-team race for the title today.
Clinton was led by two-time defending individual medalist Taylor Neidy, who rebounded from a rough start to shoot 77. Fellow senior Stacy Geswender was a stroke back at 78 as Clinton tries to ignore the pressure of trying for the three-peat.
