After seeing her team held to just 11 points in the first half, Gioya Carter exploded for 12 points in the third quarter, including a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, and Carl Albert went on to post a 44-37 victory over Tahlequah on Thursday.


Whitney Wright helped Tahlequah (15-10) off to a hot start, hitting three 3-pointers to give the Tigers a quick 13-6 lead.
