GILBERT NOT 100 PERCENT FOR CARL ALBERT

Jordan Gilbert has been one of Carl Albert's most effective players this season, averaging 10.1 points and 4.8 rebounds.

But Gilbert was limited in Saturday's area consolation win that sent the Titans to the state tournament for the ninth consecutive season.

Gilbert recently had a flare up of the back problems that kept her out for her sophomore season but gutted it out, playing through pain to help Carl Albert beat Lawton MacArthur.

It's not clear how affected she'll be next week.

“Hopefully she can continue to get treatment and start feeling better by Thursday,” Titans coach Tim Price said.
