Class 6A and 5A girls basketball state tournament qualifiers

No. 1 Broken Arrow (25-0): Behind Ole Miss signee Toree Thompson, the Tigers are one of the few undefeated teams remaining in the state.

No. 2 Edmond Santa Fe (23-1): Has won 14 straight since loss to Broken Arrow in early January to get chance to win third title in four years.

No. 5 Choctaw (21-5): Freshman Ana Llanusa has been electric and now the Yellowjackets are back in the state tournament for the first time since 2008.

No. 8 Muskogee (22-4): Winners of seven straight, the Roughers were able to cool off Putnam North in the area final.


No. 1 Shawnee (25-0): The Wolves rolled through their schedule perfectly to make their fourth straight trip to the state tournament while looking for their second title.

No. 2 Tulsa East Central (20-4): Beat Tulsa Edison in the area final to clinch fourth straight berth in the state tournament.

No. 3 Deer Creek (21-5): After a slow start, the Antlers rebounded well, winning eight straight to get a shot at defending their title.

No. 4 Carl Albert (21-5): The Titans avenged a regular-season loss to Piedmont and have now won four straight.
