Officials set tee times, starting at 9 a.m. as scheduled.

If the final round is canceled, Souvannasing would be the medalist, but she hopes they play. She's already prospered in inclement conditions. She posted a 1-over 73 to earn medalist honors at Union's regional at Owasso Golf and Athletic Club on a cold, wet, windy day similar to Thursday's forecast.

“I'm just going to go out and approach it like it's a normal tournament,” Souvannasing said. “When the weather isn't ideal it's all mental.”

With all five of its players on the leader board the Redskins are in good shape to capture their third consecutive team title. Union leads Broken Arrow by 17 shots.

“We played like it was a one-day tournament, but I hope we get to play,” Brown said. “We're used to this kind of weather. It seems that's what we've been playing in all season.”
