Class A

MVP: Jade Jones, Pond Creek-Hunter

After tearing her ACL just before the state tournament last year, Jones was healthy this time and it showed. She scored 30 points in the Panthers’ semifinal win against Cheyenne/Reydon and then despite struggling with her shooting in Saturday’s championship, she kept her teammates involved and executed a long delay game.

Player, school; PPG

Tiarra Davis, Pond Creek-Hunter; 10.3

Marissa Goodman, Frontier; 23.5

Taylor Hedrick, Seiling; 13.7

Jade Jones, Pond Creek-Hunter; 19.3

Morgan Marks, Seiling; 7.0

Class B

MVP: Morgan Vogt, Okarche

Vogt was absolutely spectacular for the Warriors, scoring in a variety of ways despite double and triple teams. During Saturday’s championship, her two 3-pointers in a 10-point burst ignited Okarche to a second straight championship.

Kenadey Grellner, Okarche; 14.0

Madi Grellner, Okarche; 13.0
