All-Tournament teams

CLASS A BOYS

MVP: Ty Lazenby, Glencoe

He was the focal point of Weleetka's defense in the title game, so he only scored 10, but he hit the clinching free throws and averaged 23.3 points per game. That included scoring 35 in the semifinal win over Sterling.

The team

Player, school, pts.

Montana Gormly, Weleetka, 19.0

Hunter Hall, Glencoe, 12.7

Mickey Milam, Sterling, 22.0

Caleb Wittman, Weleetka, 14.7

CLASS B BOYS

MVP: Tyler Tune, Arnett

Arnett has a gold ball because Tune played one of the greatest halves of basketball the Big House has ever seen, with 32 of his 39 points after halftime as Arnett rallied from 21 down. Also had 21 rebounds in the finals.

The team

CLASS A GIRLS

MVP: Morgan Vogt, Okarche

Vogt had been the Lady Warriors' sparkplug all season and kept delivering throughout the state tournament, including a 27-point performance in Okarche's tournament-opening win over Sterling, which proved to be its closest game en route to the title.

The team

CLASS B GIRLS

MVP: Maranda Janz, Erick

Janz made big shot after big shot in all three games to guide Erick to its first title since 1977. The biggest shot, though, came when she hit a 3-pointer in the championship game with 5 seconds remaining to force overtime.
