Class A football: Hollis defeats Ringling to cap perfect season

— Kalub Williams scored on touchdown runs of 5 and 20 yards on Thursday as Hollis capped a perfect season with a 29-12 victory over Ringling in the Oklahoma Class A high school football championship game.

Gunnar Ewing ran for a score and threw his team's only complete pass — a 5-yard touchdown to Keegan Macias — as Hollis built a 23-6 first-half lead.

Ringling finished the season 12-2. Slade Stewart had a 4-yard touchdown run, while Austin Rogers' 10-yard catch on a pass from Tanner Richardson made it 23-12 at halftime.

Hollis (14-0) gained 336 yards on 48 carries. Ringling had 251 yards in total offense, but turned the ball over three times, including three times on interceptions.
